Loneavenger... so to make sure I understand, you actually do not point the lasers at the dancefloor, but rather up the ceiling all the time?

Majority of the time, every now and then we let it fill the room, but with the lasers you really want to remember to never point Lasers down where the lense is aimed into someone's eyes. Just shoot it straight out and let the beams fill the room on their own. I love the effect on the ceiling, it's only a matter of personal preference but at a lot of teen events i just let it fill the room.

I have the ADJ micro series ( the micro star / micro galaxian and micro gobo) they are fantastic! I have all three on a 2 ft T bar and they have great coverage. I often use the star & galaxian on ceilings and the gobo on the dance floor. For the money you can't beat them! A chauvet eclipse is next on the list!

I have the ADJ Micro Gobo mounted on a converted Mic Stand. I sometimes point it on the floor and sometimes on the ceiling. It works great. As someone before pointed out, the Micro Series from Chauvet is an excellent bargain for price and quality.
