I've been seeing a lot of these MINI laser lights on the web.
It appears they are attempting to re-create the star-field of a Blisslight...
(minus the blue effect)
Anyone seen one of these in action?

They have knock off the bliss light too... Look here.
Just look uo sky galaxy on ebay. Not saying they are as good as the bliss but they are trying.

These new mini-lasers are terrific inexpensive accessories for your light show
Example......light up you FaCIEd DJ Front Board with one of these lasers and create an awesome effect . The small compact Size of the units allows easy placement virtually anywhere. My friend Mike Wieder actually duck tapes the mini galaxian to the top of hs speaker.

I actually tape mine to the top of my Revo that sits behind the facade and shoots up at the ceiling. Terrific effect and comes out of nowhere.

COOL!
glad to see you can actually "go cheap" and still get something decent.
sure, it's doesn't have the CLOUD effect of the Blisslight...
but I am seeing these on the web as low as 25-30 bucks!
two of them would fit nicely in my lighting rig!

These lights are no where close to a Bliss. They will give you a good, broad coverage with an active lazer show (either sound or auto mode) but you will not get the same look as a bliss.

I used GOOGLE
and typed in
MINI LASER LIGHT

I usually search the IMAGES first...

Not a bliss effect, but certainly a good unit -- the ADJ Micro Galaxin is a nice lazer. I have one and it completely fills a large room. For $79, it's a good one.

Much love for the ADJ Micro Galaxian,I have one as well, blows my other green laser out of the water and fills a large room easily! I want to get one of the other micro laser offerings, they're too cool and powerful for the price to pass up.

Question about setting up Laser lights? Since I just got one, I set it up temporarily in the man cave at home just to test it out, and see how it works, etc... I am thinking about mounting it to the top of my 9 ft. T-Bar light stand. The coverage angle on the laser unit is so wide, my concern is that it will spill over the floor and am wondering how annoying it will be those seated at tables along the edge of the floor. Any thoughts, suggestions, etc... I know the opinions and expertise are here.
Thanks.

I use the Chauvet Storm RGX lasers and we love them. I've never had any guests or clients complain that they don't like the laser " Spilling over " onto the tables although most of the time i do just shoot it up high enough to only hit the ceiling. The complaint you may get if you let it spill over though will be from Photographers at events such as weddings. The lasers interfere with their pictures because they don't want Green and Red dots in every shot. So i wouldn't worry about it unless there's photographers present.
