Hey what's up everybody? My name is James and I am thinking about becoming a DJ. The program that I'm using is virtual DJ. My question is that is Virtual DJ the best best software to use for DJ?

Welcome, James. I'm not familiar with DJ software, but I know that there are many different programs out there. I suggest that you pick one that you're comfortable with using. After all, the software is a tool and should not be used as a crutch.

Many dj's use VDJ and like it, many people use others like Rockit and love it many use others so it is just a preference. If you are happy with what you use then there is no need to change.

if you go to mp3 based computer software, I cant see going back to cd's when a person ask for a request and you have it playing before they get back to their table, Rockit is real good , the creator is on here as Softjock Rick,,,

Welcome to the board.

Lot's of software to choose from. VDJ is good but Rockit comes with a free 6 pack of your favorite beer.
