What type of wireless microphone I can get?
I need some advice, please don't break my bank.
Thanks

+1 for the RE2 system. It shouldn't break your bank and they are extremely reliable with fantastic sound quality! We have a pretty awesome price on the RE2, e-mail me if you're interested.

If you're looking for something a little less $, the new R300 series from EV also looks to be pretty impressive, but the RE2 is a better radio.

I use Sennheiser's and I have a Shure. I agree that Ben would be able to tell you what's good right now.

While Sennheiser is state of the art, if it's being used for amateur singers, it's not a good choice. VERY unforgiving. For amateur singers, the best choice has usually been Shure SM-58s at arounf $400. Up until recently I agreed. However, Dr. Zinc introduced me to GTD Audios 100 and 200 channel mics. My singers, used to Shures, PREFER this brand, and they run UNDER $200. Best mic investment EVER!

DJMello, how much do you want to spend and what are you going to use it for?

Under $100? Under $200? or ???

Are you going to use it for announcements when you're DJing? Karaoke? or ???

For Karaoke (or other like events), I have used the VocoPro UHF 5800 with good success. I don't like to let out my Senn's! Again, I'm not a KJ and I don't pretend to be one but I have plenty of friends that do offer Karaoke services. Rob is one example.

=)

I also use the RE2 and love it. Never a cut out like my old $100 one from 2000. Batteries last forever in it and it has been dropped a few times and not a mark on it.

Also an EV RE-2 user! Love the sound on it. Got mine on clearance at Guitar Center for $300.
