Been around for a couple of years now. I typically play them for seating music before the ceremony, although I do have a wedding coming up where the bride wants them for cocktail hour.

great stuff. I used them a few years ago and then forgot abouth them until DJ Mac reminded me about them a few weeks ago

My friend Mike Wieder turned me on to them about a year ago. I have used it wedding ceremonies. People constantly come up and ask: Was that just Pearl Jam or Bon Jovi. It's also good for Dinner

Oh wow! This is what I'm gonna use for pre-ceremony music form now on!

Great find - thanks!!

...one of the reasons why I love this board...even after 20 years, still finding great new stuff!

My friend Mike Wieder showed me VSQ last year. Great stuff! Recently, while using VSQ for dinner music, we were surprised to hear the guests singing Living on a Prayer at the top of their lungs while we were in an adjacent room eating.

discovered them at a wedding this Spring
VERY nice alternative to the usual pre-ceremony fodder

Along those lines, check out the Hampton String Quartet from the late 80's and early 90's.Interesting versions of rock classics, and great Christmas albums as well.

VSQ is my mainstay for pre-game stuff. I always love it when guests are sitting there, chatting, and they suddenly realize that quiet, pretty, string music is something like "You Shook Me All Night Long" or "Copacabana". I used it for a recent redneck wedding and actually got a cheer from the audience in reaction.

Dang Rick them Thar Rednecks recognize good rock eh? My question is why would one make effort to label a wedding Redneck. Some might be offended if they heard that label.

Jon, that was the nightmare I reported about 6 weeks ago. Out in the country, at a personal residence. The groomsmen had jeans, white shirt and camo ties. The bridesmaids all sported tattooes and cowboy boots (bride also). The groom wore a camo hat, white shirt, jeans, and dirty work boots and smoked a cigarette as he watched his bride walk down the hill to meet him. The tables had plastic with camo duct tape holding it down. To end off the evening, the bar band that the husband had hired horned in on my setup location, then wanted to start a fight when I rolled my boxes over their snake.

Is there another label you'd find more appropriate?

I'll give you a visual:

Oh, by the way, they bought full uplighting and paid in advance.

looks like a country weddin. Redneck is a stretch from what I seen in the pictures ya took. Regardless it was a Weddin' regardless of the pre supposed label.
