Caution!!!!! Brutality Ahead!!!! It's not personal, and you're a goofball if you don't take it to heart, and make some changes!
that being said......... I think it's kinda' sloppy...
there's only 3 pictures on that page that really show decent uplighting.
in addition, they look like they're all from the same 2 events, which tells me as a customer that you don't do this very much. the background of the page has to go, as this is not myspace... get rid of the backing jpg.
Crop and correct the perspective of your photos.. they're stretched wrong, not framed, and laid out all mish mashed.
the pictures of the bride and groom do nothing for your page whatsoever...
Like it or not, she's not an elegant looking bride, they're a dumpy looking couple, and she needs to go, and he needs to go. You need a really dreamy looking bride. Someone your customer wants to equate herself to. That girl might be a sweetheart, but she ain't gonna move product!
neither of them look happy, and neither picture is really even a decent photo.
You're also saying waaaaaay too much!
I'd never read that whole page.
a few GOOD photos, frame them and space them properly, be a bit less wordy, and update the page as you get better photos..
Don't just include stuff to fill space.
I hate to be the rain cloud, but I disagree with everyone else's input.
This page looks super amateurish, and needs to be fixed up.
You also need to fix your logo...personally, It really does nothing for you whatsoever.. I'd either A. just delete it, or B. get it re-done and vectorized so it doesn't look like a big blur.
Looking at your site, I get the impression from your presentation that you're a younger kid who's not very experienced.
reading your posts I know that's not the case, however a bride isn't going to hang out here.. she's going to see your page, go UGH! and click on through!
This is a brutal reply, but I want to be Clear as I can.. That website hurts you more than helps... The colors are awful, the graphics are awful, the layout is awful...
Spend the money to get it done right. My entire re-branding project is almost done, I paid big bucks to have someone criticize me like I just did to you. I learned a lot, and my new site should reflect that when it goes online. Do not take it personally, you asked, and I couldn't bear to see one more person post that it looked great!
In summary...
Logo... needs fixing
Colors... You really need to think that through
Graphics... square them up, and use some frames to keep them from butting up against each other.
Info... Short and sweet.. you're not trying to impress another DJ, you're trying to impress a girl who really doesn't care about 90% of what you said. Pretty Pictures speak volumes... Get some, Steal some, but get rid of the ones you're using.
I'll be happy to direct you to a few resources that can help you out if you wish. You've got a lot to offer, but you're telling your customer to go elsewhere by the way you're presenting it. Show them why they NEED YOU!
