The problem I see with using an image is you can't search the text of it. So if someone searches for DJ or "yourtown" dj, your results won't come up. You can try adding 'meta tags' to the bottom of the listing, but the problem with that, is they look and feel like it's spam and not a actual advertisement.

Also I would add the local you are catering too, because I sometimes get listings for Connecticut, NJ and a few other areas because of the location I am in.

I would also use a different font or increase the size, The white on black is hard for me to read at a reasonable distance, it sorta blurs together (On the revised one)

Besides that it looks good.

Unfortunately CL can't be used for SEO purposes these days because of the no follow tags; however, there are enough people that look on CL to make the effort worth it. Besides, it is free.

The whole thing is a picture. CL allows you to put in HTML. I built the picture in PowerPoint and saved it as a JPG. I then uploaded it to the website and built the HTML to reference it and make it a link back to my site. They click on the ad and they go to my site.
