:sqerr:Hank, do all these groups have large setups (Violins, Trumpets, saxes etc)? Wasn't the Beatles a four piece band?
Read the question again.![]()

You said "that have an orchestra sound".
Whether or not the above bands actually played all of the instruments heard on their recordings, they all most certainly had an orchestral sound.
I'll accept your apology now, thank you sir.

:sqerro I have to spell out everything for you all? I am sure that some knew exactly what I meant. Most bands do not have trumpets, woodwinds and violins etc. These are usually Orchestra Instruments. Just as you are not likely to see an electric rock style guitar in an Orchestra.
OK then the Question should read:
Name a (One) Classic Rock Band present or past that have/had Orchestra Sound. Meaning as part of their live Acts (Not Studio) they use a multitude of instruments not normally found in a regular band. Instruments such as Trumpets, Saxes, Violins, cellos etc.
I vote for Chicago.
Is this better my friend?![]()
Hank is right.
Agree with Hank sorry Canute your poll or question leaves options for the above mentioned as all of them performed on stage with Orchestra sound included (instruments and live performers filling those parts.)
OK So I Clarified it. By showing the first clip of Chicago performing I did not feel I had to explain in detail.
