Whether or not the above bands actually played all of the instruments heard on their recordings, they all most certainly had an orchestral sound.

The explanation of Orchestra sound was in parenthesis (They have lots of instruments).. Maybe you did not read that far. That was not an edit either,

:sqerro I have to spell out everything for you all? I am sure that some knew exactly what I meant. Most bands do not have trumpets,woodwinds and violins etc. These are usually Orchestra Instruments. Just as you are not likely to see an electric rock style guitar in an Orchestra.

OK then the Question should read:
Name a (One) Classic Rock Band present or past that have/had Orchestra Sound. Meaning as part of their live Acts (Not Studio) they use a multitude of instruments not normally found in a regular band. Instruments such as Trumpets, Saxes, Violins, cellos etc.
I vote for Chicago.

If you sit down for an hour or so look at it in the mirror or while standing on your head. Where praytell does it list any instruments you asked to be qualified with? Also where is the Chicago clip? I might have missed it in the shuffle care to share it again?
