We did a barter for this "Total Trolley" and swapped taking some photos for one of Coreen's coworkers for this.

It's not ultra-fancy, but it does the job that I need it to do. I use this in conjunction with my 2-wheel hand cart to help haul all the equipment.

I like the fact that it can be used as a step stool. It's center of gravity is really low so the loads are really stable. It will handle going over small bumbs in the doorways, but will not do well in really rough areas like grass and gravel. That's when the 2 wheeler gets used exclusively.

I like the trolley cart...where might one purchase one, I have the "Rock 'n' Roller" cart and it has issues with weight and turning. Need something a bit bigger to haul these new 90# JBL Subs. Didn't Sams have some sort of All steel cart I saw back a while?

We got a nice, heavy-duty Harper convertible handtruck at Sam's a couple of years ago. 8" pneumatic tires and a 400# load rating. We needed it, too... our rack cases and cabs are quite heavy and a basic 2-wheeler took too many trips to get loaded in and out.

The thing with Sam's... it's there today and gone next month. They may not carry these carts anymore. Harper has a website. I found 'em by doing a Google search for Harper handtrucks.

If you want the best, there's Magliner. You'll pay for the best with a Magliner. :)

DJ Gray - my friend bought it through a TV infomercial (yeah, I know we're boring here in IL and lack things to do!).

We liked the price (barter) and the dolly holds about 800 pounds. It also eliminates the need for carrying a stepladder.

We have an unopened VHS qick start guide that we'd be happy to drop in the mail for you. Just PM Kirby with your snail mail address, we can send it to you.

Actually it's only rated at 200 pounds, so I'm exceeding that by around 25%. :D
 
When pulling the trolley, it's rated for 800 pounds, but I have never had more than 300 pounds on it.

I'm with Wolfie on this one, If you want something "heavy duty" go to Sam's, etc. and get you a real hand cart.

Like I said, we bartered for this. I usually bring in cases on the TT and speakers in on the two wheel hand cart (with inflatable tires). I just like that it helps me eliminate a few trips and that I have a built in step-stool for climbing around on.

I would not use it (TT) in the 2-wheel dolly mode as that is only rated for 150 pounds.

If we didn't have our other 2-wheeler with inflatable tires (a freebie from a friend) and our bartered TT, I would be buying one of these. They are made to last and are reasonably priced (about $79.00 at Sam's..I believe).

If you want more stability, you can cut some 3/4 plywood to fit the cart when using it in the 4 wheel mode. I think there is a pic in one of Cap's pictures in the gear-hauling thread that shows what I mean.

Our old 2-wheeler is a Magliner. These carts, while expensive are light in weight and built to last forever. Magliners have real wheel bearings. The target market is vending companies that use 'em all day, every day.

The Harper truck is a combination of steel and aluminum. It's a tad bulky... but we figured a way to fit it in the truck. I like it because it's convertible ~ it can be used as a 2-wheeler or platform truck. It's simple to convert... kick the spring loaded lever and the thing opens up. Snaps back just as easily. The handles are great to hang cables on when loading in and out.

During the shows, we lay the thing down out of the way, lay the rack case covers and all on it and cover it with a drape.
