Sissys Song sometimes will have an effect on me. I change the words in my mind to reflect the loss of a dear friend I lost last year.

I am trying to think of which football game it was..(just recently) they released that Bald Eagle during the Star Spangled Banner, and I had a few tears run down my face.

A song that brings me comfort when things get chaotic is the song "Hurt" Johnny Cash style. *Brings reality to a blurred mind*

Anytime I watch a father/daughter dance I get choked up a bit.

Ten years ago, I took everything for granted, and now I have realized just how short can really be! :sqfrown:

when THIS guy sings THIS song... and it gets better the further into the video you go:

YouTube- Homeless Guy is Amazing!

I love these "homeless guys"!

I knew a guy in George Town back in the 70's named Fast Eddie, he was in his early fifties back then had long white hair dirty beard and grungy clothes and lived on the streets panhandling for money!

As we got to know him he invited us to his home one night for Thanksgiving, just three blocks off of M Street he had a mansion (probably a 2 or 3 million dollar home back then)!

As we talked he explained that in an average year he would take in between $200 and $300 thousands dollars just pan handling on the streets, he said it was a lot of work but worth it to him!

There was a woman in Charlottesville (who has since been busted) who they say made an average $1500 a week sitting in the medium strip panhandling with a sign that said she was homeless (it turned out she was because she was renting her duplex home out to other people)!:sqlaugh:

Okay, my songs are probably gonna be different than what other people have posted. I love this thread!
