How true. It's surprising they were able to go as far as they did with a security camera on them.

Same here 2000lb roll of wire, through a sheetrock wall. Just glad I wasn't on the crew using it.
Yes, fatally. A few years ago, had a call (I also am a '911' paramedic)... a Verizon worker was behind a cable spool that was on a truck that somehow came off the truck & back onto him. There was nothing anyone could do. It rolled right over him.
The weight, I believe was somewhere between 500-1000 lbs...

The video is amusing after the fact but you can see what would have happened if someone had been in its path.
the guy closest to the camera almost looks as if he let it go on purpose!

I think it was a planned accident.
Something doesn't look right. Those people sitting down didn't seem to be very bothered by it at all. And How in the heck did 2 guys get it up that far? there had to be a cable or something.
If I was sitting in that chair & saw 2 guys trying to push that up a staircase, (with no straps or cables, I would be standing & waiting for the outcome.
