Alright, I have had enough!

After searching for nice packets...I just can't find anything that WOWs me.

When it is going to cost roughly $5.00 per packet to create the vision I am looking for..them packets better looking awesome, and I don't see a solution.

I am going to do a DVD. A lot cheaper in the long run. Extra videos in the future run a lot cheaper.

I think "less is more" is a good idea for bridal packets
considering how many "packets" a client gets at a bridal show
it's tough to make YOUR packet seem different.
I like the DVD idea, cause it's all included in ONE item.
just not sure if b/g's are gonna run home and pop it in the DVD player.
but if they do, I'm sure it would work better than brochures and business cards

I will have a business card, tri-fold color brochure, welcome letter, and reference list... I'm not sure I need much more than that.

Rob, why a reference list? Curious about that. In the last 5 years we've had maybe 2 people ask about references.

Thanks, honey... :)

You miss the point. The packaging doesn't matter. Its the content and you. You'd have to screw up your packet PRETTY BAD for it to not do its job.

I could do that, I'm really good at screwing things up! :sqembarrassed::sqerr::sqwink: Just ask Coreen... :D :p

I don't know.... cause it sounds like a good idea??? No?

I've never been to or done a Bridal Expo... I'm a virgin....

Not judging, I was just curious. I like to learn things.. :) So I ask questions. :D

Question for you..???

I've tried before to get information about YOU. Who YOU are, I see nothing. I enjoy reading your posts, sometimes you're a little too confidant, almost cocky.

How about a profile?

why not create this on a give away CD business card

a mate gave me the idea 5x years ago and have done different things ever since

so here is a screensaver I made in about 20mins
that you can have a look at
its in the rar file and you can download anyone from below - have fun

Aw gee Tim, I didn't know you cared! As for me, you can learn plenty about me if you actually DO read the posts;) You actually befriended me on Facebook, so there is plenty of me there to send anyone running to the hills my friend!

Clients don't need to know about me on a personal level, and all that they need to know about me and my character traits as they pertain to their event and how I will conduct myself in my dealing with them is perfectly communicated on my site, and any blanks and last-minute "touchy-feelies" are filled in at the consults.

So Tim, what would you like to know?!?

As for confidence, there is nothing wrong with being confident if it is well-founded. There's nothing I say about myself as a business person or dj that isn't easy to substantiate, so if it sounds like there might be something there, then maybe there actually IS! :sqcool:
