Pretty Excited! Hank is workin' on brandin' me!

To many ads? Support ODJT and see no ads!
Okay, this is proof that one logo can work for both markets.
I even think I nailed the tag line!

Mabye it's my eyes and mabye the background but I have a real hard time seeing the PR in the logo

Something else you might want to consider Adam is branding as "A" Party Revolution to get better standing on ads and phone book listings

I love the logo look....

However, just got a personal note from a friend, and he says......

"I see you touting that new logo, honestly its looks very entry level. The font Edwardian Script is over used, I'd just be careful and I hope you didn't pay for that new logo."

Am I too simple of a guy? I personally really love the sophisticated look. And the PR blows me away!

I think #2 is the only one that fits with the name - it's the only one that looks "revolutionary." (However, it also looks like a very well known clothing retailer.)

The name should match the logo style or vice versa. "Revolution" implies radical change - a departure from the ordinary or expected. The classical script font implies old establishment and comfortable familiarity.

Also, the logo has to be able to reproduce well in black & white, as well as on various color backgrounds. There's no limit to where you might want to use it. (stationary, advertising, clothing, signage, novelties, etc.) It should also reproduce well in square shapes such as online avatars and links.

Does anyone know where I can get like about a nice 3x4 ft cardboard/other material printout for a nice advertisement to be used at like bridal shows?

I know I can get banners all over..I was thinking of a less wrinkled mess. :sqwink:

Check your local BBB or Networking Association.

*Don't take this the wrong way, but I feel the need to defend this statement.

I'll start by saying, I am not a professional designer. It's just something I'm pretty good at. However, I'd be a fool to not get compensation for my work.

Now, that's not the font, but script fonts are very similar and are over used. When you ask for classy intertwined letters, that's what usually comes first. It's also the one you picked so, I must have interpreted the request well. Since, I knew that better could be done, I provided the other variations which weren't requested. :sqwink:

I know your target is weddings (hell, we all want them), but like the above points. Your name doesn't cry "weddings" so, forcing it to look elegant, is kind of unnatural.

Seriously, something to consider, but it's your business. I'm here to help get you what you want.

(Oh, and for the record...If you do "pay" for the script logo, it's worth every penny of my ridiculously low fee.)

I always start logos in it's most raw form being flat B&W for that exact reason.
I just didn't post them with the samples.

Good point and thanks for making it. :sqwink:

You just have to let that kind of stuff roll off your back.
(When they throw water at you be a duck not a kitten.)

Script fonts are over used - and for a good reason!

Ye opinions..................
I find it funny everyone today is a critic and knows best. I didnt hear the part Adam where this asshat of a friend continues with............ and let me show you how it can look from my professional experience. Hank if I could I would buy ya a beer thanks for your patience and love for the game.

Hank: Ya dont need to be fuming...lol!

I thought the PR was awesome!

I want intertwined the P and R, and you did just that.

You are just fine in my book, don't worry about what the other AZZHATS say!

Now as far as more edgy per say....I love the way on the next card you got the Pr in...Professional, Practical, Proud. Very awesome!

So how do I be edgy, and not be too edgy for wedding clients?

Personally when I think weddings I think elegant and not edgy.

But now when I think bars/schools/karaoke/game show...I think way more edgy.

I am just trying to find out, how to find that perfect balance in a card, is all.

Hank will get compensated well for his help as a friend! He is not only a great friend, but a huge asset (not azzhat :sqwink:) to my business! We will find the perfect solution, and everything will be awesome.

Don't sweat the comment's Hank...
