Hey ya'll, just starting to tinker with trussing a bit. Here is a very minimalistic set up to get the ball rolling. Video is from last night and the end of a very busy 4 days - the kids made it worthwhile and a blast!

what connectors are you using to make the horizontal truss? I'd love to use something like this at some of my SoChi gigs.

They were a global truss adapter clamps, a normal truss end with a heavy duty "c" clamp on the other. The "C" clamp has a bolt you can loosen and turn it any direction you want. I only used four of them (2 on each side) to hold up the truss....I had my helper that night (nearly 300 lbs.) sit on it to be sure it was sturdy - it was fine! The clamps cost about $17 each.

You actually have to go from the end of one stick of truss, onto the middle of the vertical piece...so you need a one sided C clamp to make it work, at least for this application.
