So I attended the MB road show Sunday night in Needham MA. That's outside of Boston but for the out of towner's, close enough. I must say it was well put together and worth the price of admission. I especially liked DJ Doug Saddler. He was a refreshing voice about marketing, raising your rates, worth, etc. Best of all he wasn't selling anything either. All his info was free.

At the end of the night I did win a pair of Pioneer headphones worth $150 but I spent $600 on game show stuff from Digigames. Oh well, it's only money.

Below is a pick of me taken by my good friend Bettie. I think I might have found a new career in marketing.

Thanks for reading the brief review and if you get a chance to attend one in your area I'd suggest you do.

Ron thanks for the honest and detailed account of your visit. I would love to hang with ya in the halls at a MB show in the near future hopefully Vegas.

I think the NY stop was last night...I really wanted to go...unfortunately I got a better offer...from a redhead.

The MB show stopped here in Phoenix on 8/9. It was very well received & they did a very good job. It was nice to network with all our fellow mobile DJs in the area.

Yes,

I attended the Philly show last night (YES, that was in Philadelphia proper)...

A fun load-in, load-out. But we got 'er done.

Kudos to Mike, Ryan & Jake who made this show happen. Echoing Ron's comments - Doug (Sandler) - yes, as in the Sandler Sales Institute gave it away for FREE.

It was a good show.

And, as luck would have it - I won a pair of headphones too. . . But one guy did one better - he got a boot on his car compliments of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

At least the Mobile Beat truck didn't get touched...:)

I went to the stop in Pittsburgh on the 19th. I went to see Jim Cerrone in particular, but got a TON of information on using the internet for marketing from Andy Ebon. It was actually a part of the program in which I had no interest initially. Man I'm glad I caught his talk.

I hope they bring the tour around next year.

No.... I've got the same shirt - on the back it says, "My wife said I could".
:sqwink::sqlaugh::sqlaugh::sqlaugh::sqlaugh:

Ron's says "Ditto".
Wrong there Skippy. Your wife don't tell me I could. She only tells you if you can.:sqwink::sqlaugh: She likes me.:sqeek:

Yes, and tell everyone how you scored that find looking shirt there Joe. Go on, tell everyone where the swag came from. I'm sure they'd all like to hear that story.:sqwink:
