Awesome find. How do you top that in the Grand Intro?

Yea, seriously.

BTW...I love stuff like this! Don't know what church around here will allow it, haha. But for an onsite ceremony...fantastic!

Great video...and yes memories for sure.

But **oh boy** the bridal party made what two entrances...and the bride and groom made one?

Oh mind you..grand entrance took oh 5 long minutes...and um...in a church.

So let me get this right..this was a great idea??

I like them trying to do something different...but this approach in a house of worship kinda doesn't rock my boat.

A house of worship is not meant to be boring by no means...but this was more like a circus act in my eyes.

So on a scale of 1-10 for excitement and something new..10 being best, I give it a 10!

On a scale of 1-10 on this being a good idea...1-10..10 being the best...I give it a 2!

Ugh...too much time spent on the intro's again! IMO :sqfrown: I guess this is what people want!

Adam, I agree (mostly) about it being done in a church.

So if your client presents you with this idea, you would do what? Talk them out of it cause "it's too long", cause "it's a circus", cause it's not your style?

It's what they wanted, it was executed pretty damn good and EVERYBODY there will be talking about that wedding for years...and bottom line, that is what most brides want...the most memorable day of their (and their friend's) lifes.

EDIT-I will concede that the Bride's entrance could have been a little more dramatic in relation to the rest of the processional.

Adam apparently in upper Minnesota you have not witnessed some of the churches in the south. This was mild. Nobody was speaking in tongues even. Hallelujah Albany for sharing can I get an AMEN.

Never talk your client out of anything that they have envisioned. Go with it, be enthused for them!

All I can think is this group must have been in drama class and had performed in recent yrs its hard enough for most partys to line up and hear the name at the right moment. The coreography was well thought out. Especially at the end when they all were up front before the Brides entrance.

In a church..no way I would be part of it! I believe in making memories and personalizing your event to make it special, but certain things don't have their place for creating a circus act, and church is one of them places.

The only thing I tell my clients is to not focus so much on the bridal party. My clients can tell me what they want for their event, and I deliver exactly what they want! My clients are my friends, and I have no problem making suggestions, and having them tell me what works best for them.

But as said above...if you wanted me to create an intro like that for a place of worship...I'd have to politely decline such an invitation. This is one of those things no amount of money would I do this for! Really NONE!

The having fun with my clients is a whole other story on its' own. I got that covered!

EXACTLY.
Although...while I haven't actually talked anybody out of anything, I have steered them away from an idea that wasn't really thought out in terms of how it will appear in the real world. The key is to keep asking questions about what they are trying to achieve and why, lead them to their own realization that it may not be a good idea.

I want to touch on this just a short bit. Nothing major..but for the record! :sqwink:

I definitely think church should be fun, but when you go over the top for an intro to the church is absurd in my book.

If this is such a great idea, why don't right before church every sunday they hire an announcer for the priest/pastor to come and preach?

I'll give you an AMEN for your post!

Umm Adam you need to do some traveling outside your conservative State of Mini Soda in Fact you might be shocked to see a grand entrance really does occur in some churches......PRAISE GOD!!!!

We dont even know what religion, if it is a real church or just an onsite ceremony facility. Too much over analysis going on. But who cares? Obviously the Ceremony Facility OK'd it.
If youre going to be a Wedding DJ, gotta leave all personal religious preferences at home.

If my client wants 1 hour of Intros? Kaching, $$$$ , more for me!
Yeah, longer please. 2 Hour cake Fight, yes please! What was that? You want OT, oh sure! No problem!

Just my .02 :sqwink:
