Lights and possibly some more lights...Truss or stands, some for replacement and some will be in addition to.....

That might take care of this year (I doubt it....:sqwink:)

Next year, we're hoping to buy more sound gear, possibly a whole new system. Of course "you know who" will be getting all my business...:sqwink::sqlaugh:

i think im gonna go with a powered sub...... i have 2 JBL JRX125 an the bass is nice...... but i jus wanna have that chest thumping bass for a song or two, not all night just for a song or 2 with good bass lines......

altho im not sure if i can add it with my current set up

Well I have to buy a chaser of some sort in the next couple of weeks as a replacement for my old one. I'm also looking at a few lights.

Although I am trying hard to talk myself out of it for financial and weight reasons I really like the Yorkville NX750Ps

Remember, with an active (Electronic) Crossover, you will have dedicated frequencies and thus the need for individual amps for each frequency. 2 way stereo xover = 2 amps; 3 way stereo xover = 3 amps; 4 way stereo xover = 4 amps.
The speakers do not necessarily have to be in separate enclosures. You can buy bi amped speakers or tri amped speakers. Each will have its own connections.

Val. I've been using Compu 2006 from Elation but, then again, I'm a FOH guy. :)
What do I know about Lights? LOL
I used to use a board in this one facility that was both PC and full board control. I'll try to see if I can remember where it was and find out more info. A hybrid of both worlds would be sweet. Use the board to load in scenes to the PC and override when needed.
That would be nice!

I already have two powered cabinets, this is the first pair of passive speakers I have ever bought. I have a power amp already and it works, but i want a better one.

The main problem right now is until I can get a proper bass bin, I'm not sure what kind of crossover, or even if I'll need two or just get a new mixer with dual outputs.

What I'd really like to do is send the high and bass to the two powered speakers, and send the high and mid to the two passive speakers I bought.
