So I'm putting together a postcard (go Ducky!) to use for marketing my availability for club work, karaoke, etc and I would like to put my myspace url on it but I'm afraid myspace might be SO out of style that it could turn into a negative. I realize that Facebook is THE big deal now but myspace certainly showcases musicians and djs better...maybe there is a NEW "fill-in-the-blank" that is up and coming that musicians and djs are using? (Twitter won't work for what I'm doing...at least I don't think it would)

I'm trying to market myself to clubs in a different way then the wedding side...I guess I could ramp up a completely different website for what I want to do but I thought I'd check around first...

Just about every local band I have seen has a myspace page, I think it's become the site for the emo and the bands.

Otherwise it is a personal choice, if it is working in your area for others, then use it, but if not, then you will either be a leader or not.
