But not many people would, on a regular basis walk into their dentist and ask, "so how much to remove this tooth if I don't use any Novocaine"?. I like your idea with your mechanic but how many people on a regular basis tells their mechanic "my car won't start, call me when you get an opening and well have you do it for less?" I'm not picking on him but Tom Olendorf even puts it on his website that all prices are negotiable. To me that tells the customer that "if you don't think I'm that good I'll do it for a cheaper price. That for many it's not about my service but how little you can get me for".
