Ok,
SO Keith's thread is morphing into a "We love Kat, we love NLFX, & yeah, we love Ben thread".... It's all good, right? There's nothing wrong with that.
So, Ben. I must thank you for the one we call Kat. She has been oh so helpful in getting an order of a couple of Q-Spot 200s for me.
Today was a crazy day. First a funeral for my uncle this morning. Then from there...get down to the local FedEx hub. The lights were waiting for me & into the car & home I went. Unpacked & installed the lamps - following the instructions & even using the little handy wipe to wipe down the lamp before turning them on. WOW! I'm glad that I went with the Q-200s vs the 152s. VERY NICE lights.
After letting them cool down - they & all the other equipment I'm using, got shipped over to the Middle school for our load-in for the High School musical show we're doing.
Met up with the A/V company that we're using - 15 wireless Lavs, Couple of handhelds, 32 Channel (I think) mixer, 4 hanging mics, 2 shotgun mics & then there's the lighting: I believe we ended up using 8 ADJ Par 64 Pro LED cans, 2 Q-spot 200s & along the backline, 2 Punchpro LEDs & 2 Rain 56s... Using Chavet's ShowExpress for these effects.
We started @ 3:15 & didn't finish until 8:30... But DA*M everything looks good. I'll start a new thread with pics. Tomorrow (I hope).
Thanks again Kat & Ben.
Cheers,
Joe
PS: What case would you recommend for the Q-spots?
