One more note on the last lights received. Had to open one up and do some solder work on the board. Looks like it had a couple of cold joints, nothing major at all; working great now. Have them set and ready for use. Should get their first workout this week at a youth conference. If all goes well that is!


Again, I see this company not being around real long with the way they have been, so having a background in electronics I dont worry bout service for mine, but I would not count on any service from the company!

And I will state again, I would NOT order from them again.

after following this catastrophic thread from the beginning. If I had received one of the elusive Scamstars I would not likely consider sending them in for repair the folks over at Scamstar might mail em out to those who havent received their initial order.

Out of curiosity, I decided to call them the other day.

I got voicemail, left a message and they called back after I had turned off my cell. I have yet to try again.

I would have been curious to know how they were going to ship me products(if I ordered), when so many others have yet to receive theirs.

I guess I'll never know since I doubt I'll waste any more time on it.

Maybe I should direct them to MB' page that says this:

"Have a fantastic new product or service that you would like to market to the largest mobile DJ show in the country - Click here"

Latest update, surprise surprise. Just received a USPS package in with all the knobs, thumb screws, plastic washers that was missing! At least they keep up with what they did not ship. Hmm wonder if I should ask for the missing frosted lens. heck, might be worth a shot.

So as of yesterday when I received the package, 5 months from the exact date of ordering, all 18 elite lights in. Only missing frosted lens and I can live without those. (wanted to see what they would do for washing, but oh well)

I will state it again, I like their lights but I would NOT order from them again. And if you do order from them, be prepared to wait and wait and wait to get your lights. But do not bank on them being around long!

It gets better! They promised me to ship "incomplete" product and never did!
 
well maybe you will get them in a few weeks. just stay on top of them keep calling if you can. It was easier to trick them back when they had their phone system and I pocked around finding extensions. :sqeek: but now, they hardly ever answer. but leave message!!!
