In efforts to load my 500 gig HD I mixed up a bunch of folders and also have various artist albums which have caused multiple songs. Its spring cleaning here in sunny British Columbia so I can move forward with my quest for digital MP3 cleanliness. Is there a program to extract the mp3 files and delete the folders all in one long winded process? also is there a program to delete multiples? I checked google etc and I am not very puter literate so cant seem to find the right softwares to do these long winded but needed clean up chores here at the Pimp Shack.:sqcool: Thanks in advance.

I do it manually Jon.

If yer using Rockit, it doesn't matter, you can just run the Dupe scan, and remove them from the Lib. If you want to physically delete them, I would suggest doing it manually, so as not to leave room for error on some program's part...

Takes time, but then, anything done right, takes time... ;) :)

Thanks Rick Im okay with the time but if it is an option I choose to become more efficient when it comes to these things before I launch full on. So I will be ready for MP3 full monty by 2010 lol. Thanks for the quick reply I will continue on in manual mode.

Jon, there is a freeware filedupe program out there just send me a message and i'll have a look where it is......
