Lights Under Speakers?

Do you have any pics of what you are speaking of or reference a possible idea?

Unfortunately no, I do not. I don't have any pics from that time (lost in a HDD crash). But you can find thousands of pictures of the lighting with cold fog. I searched for shin kickers to see if I could find something, but I could not, you can keep looking though.

Next time I do it I will snap pictures and send you some.

Well you are in luck! At my current gig I use moving lights to light a floor (a dark colored one at that). So I do have pics. These aren't the same thing, but you get the idea.

Gentlemen, Thank You for your thoughts.

I was just looking for something different when the audience looks at the stage area.

In my area most halls only allow us two hours to set up and 30 minutes to tear down, so it has to be simple.

I actually caught some flack on this forum
cause my lighting rig sits on the floor.

but I, too, like having my par cans close to the floor.
I dont like putting them up high
where people feel as if they are in their faces.
I also believe you get less shadows from legs
than you do with torso's

putting effect lights up higher is okay
