The site for my new party DJ company is ready. It's not officially live yet, I wanted to have some additional eyes and browsers have a look-see first. I'm curious about load time for the top portion of the background for each page...do you think it's too long? Any other issues, spelling, grammer, etc, appreciated.

Here is the link...
www.yourweddingentertainment.com/ype2
(When that link no longer works that means the site is live and residing at www.yourpartyentertainment.com)

The point of the new brand is to diversify (and fill some free time with gigs) without sacrificing or diluting my two established brands. And of course all the cross links between the brands will only help with SEO.

The first two letter that are sounded out on the site are F and U.

Subliminally, that is a negative.

Ummm...what?

Looks good, but Loads bottom to top?
Great site though

Haha, yea...the lower background elements are gif so they load faster then the top which is a jpg. Trying to decide if that load time is too long and if I need to lower the file size on the top.

Ummm...what?
The first two letters read are F and U in Fun, F U

Then the First two words are Fun and Unforgettable, again F and U

The subliminal message those sounds and letters convey is "F U", a very negative sounding combination, as in "F" You . You ask anyone that has any experience with advertising psychology and see if I'm out of line.

It is not the use of the word fun or Fun and unforgettable that is inherently bad but the prominence and immediacy of there position and place screamed at me.

You're looking at the wrong site. The first link Wayde posted is the new website. The "Fun" "Unforgettable" banner is not there.

In that case the site looks more party or event oriented than a service aimed at weddings.

Wayde,
being psychiatric challenged I didnt get any negative vibes and so I liked the design very much however that jpg loading allows one to think, oh no here we go a slow loading site.

I currently maintain three separate websites/DJ companies. The link address may have also confused you. The new site (Your Party Entertainment) is indeed a party/event oriented company. This site is currently hiding within my other site until I'm ready to go live. The site you were originally talking about (Your Wedding Entertainment) is the wedding oriented company. And yes, I (now) completely understand what you were talking about with the whole F and U thing. I agree with the concept, however changing it would be difficult as it is essentially my USP.

Yes that is my concern with the slight delay with the top image loading. The only reason I kept it jpg is because the logo noticeably degrades in a lower resolution for some reason (I think it's due to the brightness of that color). I'll have to play with that some more.

The point of the web sites is that you tell people what you need to tell and nothing more.Short and simple.
Thats the reson i like Web sites like youres.
I will not change enything at youre place.
Nice and good work.
