You may spend a bit more for a basic Denon one, but they are well worth the money. The DND4500 is their basic model.
+1 one the Denon Dn-D4500. Its what I use on my main rig.
Not a lot of foo foo.
CD Tray can be used with other Midi / HD products if you want to go that route.

Don't buy anything with the Gemini logo on it. I can't speak for the rest but Gemini decks have little to no buffer at all. You might squeeze two years of service out of it if you're lucky.

The Denons can be controlled by the HC4500, as well, is that correct?
I will soon have the controller, and might consider adding the drives, as another form of backup, if it's cost-effective. How much are they, roughly?

I've seen the head unit and drives for $630 at pssl.com. The decks themselves go for $400 on there. Like I said, a bit pricier, but well worth it.

If anyone sees a bargain on the drives, let me know. They're not a "must have" for me, but might be cool to have.
