That's the question I got from someone calling last minute for a wedding reception less than 4 weeks from today.... OMG I just want to reach through the phone and strangle people some times....
I mean really if you go out to get gas on a Sunday are you going to get a discount on your gas, no. If you go to Starbucks on a Sunday are you going to get a discount on your double mocha capachino with extra foam, no.
So, why do last minute brides who have just now decided that they want a DJ think we will give a discount based on the day of the week?
Does it cost us less to provide our services on a Sunday vs a Saturday?
Will the caterer or photographer be offering a discount?
Why should our profession be any different?
