Saw this site onewed.com and they offered a free listing so I setup a freebie account, with their link on my links page. So then I thought I would give it a test with their referral page. They do allow you to link to your webpage, but they want any quote request to go through their system. So I put in a quote request using one of my extra email addresses, and waited, after a minute or two I got the quote validation email from them at the sending email address. I waited and waited and after a couple of hours decided that my ISP's SPAM filter must have eaten the email. This morning I did have the email but the is no contact information in the email it tells about the request but also says to get the contact info you must be a paid member. So the email is basically useless, and if a possible client sent out the request you would have no way to contact them back on the freebie account, so unless the possible clients hit your website and requests info direct it is more than useless since the client will never hear back from you, they will just write you off. Now my test quote request was an obvious bogus request so I haven't gotten any other quotes from other DJ's but I have a feeling this works like 800dj.com, and sends out quote requests to all the paid members in the area first so they can bid on the job.
