I've read on other boards that many have ordered (10 weeks ago) and haven't received their lights yet (but credit cards billed)...some angry folk...

From what I read, these are hand made to order...they've gotta be behind from what I see on this board with everybody ordering them.
Well, I'm still not bad mouthing the lights, because they are solid, BUT, I'm still waiting on my other 3. I was told that 1 had shipped on 8/11 and I got it on 8/12 and the other 3 would ship out on 8/12 for a 8/13 arrival. I called the first part of the next week and was told there was a shortage of LEDs and they would be shipping the following Tuesday. Guess what's not here? On that phone call I also ordered 4 more lights. I purchased the original ones on 6/25. I emailed them off of their site on Sunday and told them I needed them this weekend (I really do) and as an act of kindness for me having to wait so long, they should go ahead and ship my other 4 (7 total) I didn't hear from them today, so I guess I'll be calling them tomorrow.
Perhaps it's time for some to take some action?
If my credit card bill comes in and I don't have the product, guess who will be issuing a dispute?
Me times 20 might make a difference, then again, might not at all.
I survived 30 years without these. Surely another couple of years without them won't hurt.

It really is sad when success kills a company. But it happens so often when a small company has a product that they cannot manufacture fast enough to supply the demand due to staffing or supply limits.
Mike : Success doesn't. Lying and misrepresentation does which is far from success, reaping exactly what it deserves and earned.
I agree, but if they could produce the lights fast enough, they would have never started the lying. They have made it much worse lying instead of telling people trying to place an order that there will be a delay, and also they should have never billed the card before having the product ready to ship. But yes lying will definitely kill a company faster. I also was thinking of placing an order but I think I will stick to the smaller LED cans I have for awhile
Man, I got to find a schematic for this stuff... Make 100's and sell them for $50 a piece... they really don't look complicated, all I really need is a schematic for DMX...
They called today and said my other 3 will be here on Thursday morning. I tried to get them to send the other 4 but they said there are 50 other orders ahead of mine.

Notice they said "READY TO SHIP"...now it's just a matter of them actually getting around to really shipping them.
THIS Thursday. I let him know that when I ordered these on June 25, it was for Labor Day weekend. I've been patient but after a while........
