Bonjour everyone. Its 10:35am on sunday here and I'm so exhausted that its not even funny. Anyhow, party got started at 8pm when the main doors opened and the flood washed in. Within about 4 minutes I had a packed dance floor. Opening song was In The Ayer. Most requested songs were Swing, Lollipop, and Drop n' Gimme 50. I had about a 20 minute set of older rap, like sir-mix-alot, old usher, nelly (hot in here- went over huge) and the kids responded extremely well to all of them. Also got in some oldies like My Girl, Stand By Me and When A Man Loves A Woman also with great success. The highlight of my night was when the police told me I had to cut the bass back because 2 of the metal cans that surround the lights on the 25' ceiling had just fallen and crashed in the back of the room. At the same token, the roof rattled enough to coat the entire floor in sheetrock junk by the end of the night. The amount of bass from this system was absolutely insane! I LOVED the power of the sub coupled and will certainly try to couple them whenever possible. I had more than enough power and it sounded amazing. I had a stack of 500 cards disappear primarily to adults who were so impressed that a teenager, a student at the school could put together something like that.
