Well after a night like this, Im ready to pack it in and give it all up.... For and event that was suspose to have 274 people, I think it topped out at 50... Very divers group of people... Dancing was very limited... Gig ran from 8-1, Longest 5 hours of my life...
I forgot my camera again, but here is the equipment list in rough
- Pyle wireless mics - Actually worked really well, why buy new if they soon wont work...

Well one thing that pissed me off to start was the father of the bride to be was outside for a smoke before the gig started, and my roadie was in the van, and could here everything, and he comes out and was "Oh they guys a jerk, Hes charging way too much, I could have got someone for soo much cheaper... and all this", Turns around at the end of the night, comes up and talks to me like hes my buddy, And he deffiantly wasnt hammered...
I guess I have just had it with dealing with drunks... I am missing the enjoyment of DJing... The number one reason I DJ is having the feeling when everyone is dancing to the music, that you are making that happen... It just doesnt seem to occur much anymore now a-days...

That was probably the most interesting list I have read on here or at least the widest variety. Not very ofthen you see Marlyn Manson and Allan jackson on the same list

The trick to longevity in this business I have found is work with people you like. Really get t know thm and even on the nights that they don't dance alot they will have fun

Even though the results were poor, just make sure you still acted like you were having a great time!

Those 50 guests are just as important as 1000 guests! You need to remember that! You never worry about how many that were susposed to be there, you need to worry about the guests that were there!

If this is not ok with you, and your heart is out somewhere else, it may be time to think about hanging it up! But who knows, maybe your next gig will have more excitement, and you will forget about this one!
