The load in for this one might be tough.

no we do not have a rider to add that coverage, it's in our standard policy. I had to check because we used to do a very large event that utilized up to a dozen volunteers in order to keep costs down (and involve more of their people). Our liability reads that accidents to or caused by...

Our insurance policy specifically covers any hired or volunteer help.

Looking at lav/headset mics. Your recommendation?

doesn't seem like a bad deal if it's complete and all works. I don't know much about that mic to know if it's good/bad/mediocre or what the pickup pattern is. I see a couple out there on ebay and reverb missing one antenna (looks to be same unit from sam ash listed multiple places). You can...

How do you deal with a potential client who wants a price quote right away?

You also said you were "bringing what others have brought" yet the only reference to what others might bring is 2 12" tops and 2 subs. Just trying to keep up. And people would only laugh if the DJ was lame. A good dj could rock the park with a pair of tops and a pair of subs.

Looking at lav/headset mics. Your recommendation?

yeah they are single system but you can have multiple options for the mic end of things....but typically just one mic per receiver. If you need a hh and a lav you'd need 2 receivers in order to have 2 different channels. The reason you buy the hh+ lav system is to have different options...

Looking at lav/headset mics. Your recommendation?

I'm not super familiar with all the details as it's been a long time since we shopped...but one of the main differences is the number of channels available, so if you need more than a couple wireless at a given event, the ulx series will suit you better. Otherwise I believe both slx and ulx...

Looking at lav/headset mics. Your recommendation?

We have had flawless performance with our ULX Shure's. We have a couple sets with HH + lav for flexibility, but most often use handhelds. For handhelds we go SM58 heads. Channel selecting ability comes in handy in areas that might have other wireless activity going on, and for events using...

How do you deal with a potential client who wants a price quote right away?

Great way to race to $0 Seriously, some people are really good negotiators and some customers love to negotiate. If that fits his niche, great for him. Most people I don't believe fall in this category. They don't like dealing with snakes and someone who can't give you a straight up price is...

How do you deal with a potential client who wants a price quote right away?

I don't even understand how this is a question. A prospect wants a price you give them a price. It's not hard at all. "generally you can expect to pay $100-200 for that type of event, do you have a date set?" then you get the ball rolling. If I give them a price and it's way out of their...

CF Is a Compact Flash card...it's used in lieu of an SD card. They tend to be more reliable and faster to write information, so are a feature on higher end cameras typically.

But the 2.8 is such an amazing lens. I LOVE it! Something about those white Canon lenses..... As to the big and heavy...I once pumped the hand car around Prairie Village (you know the little flatbed cart you hand pump down the train tracks) with Ben Stowe and a couple others with my 5D around...
