I used to do that. I used wooden plates on top with a pipe flange and a short piece of pipe on the top to go in the speaker pole. It's a cool look. Would love to see your finished product.

Used the guitar track for A Mother's Song yesterday for the seating of the mother's at a ceremony. Good stuff, Tony!!

I haven't made one in at least 4 years. LOL I know Steve Lynch made some for a bit, but he's not making them anymore. I still get people asking questions on youtube about the facades. Since I got divorced, I don't have the space to make them now.

Offer what the venue doesn't. Table under lighting. Get with the florist and offer to light their foliage. Kinda like this.

I second the comment on the small screen. I understand where you're going wanting screens. I've moved from 2 42" screens to 1 60" and will buy another when I have an extra grand. Look at my latest pics. The 42's are in the air. Which one would you rather have??

One other thing, until I got the new lights, I only did static lighting. Not worth the hassle to try and run dmx.

I saved up and bought 10. I then sold all my 10mm lights and had enough to buy 10 more. The battery's last 7+ hours. I carry them, right now, in big storage totes (gonna get road cases) and I have 5 per box. A power strip with 5 cables, pop the lids and plug them in. I can charge 10 and...

It varies. My new lights are battery and wireless, so I can drop 12 lights in less than 5 minutes. Before? It would have taken at least 30 -40 minutes to place and lay the wires, then tape it all down. The auditorium in town would take me 2 1/2 rolls of gaffers tape and at least 1 1/2 hours...

What a pissing match! I've said this till I'm blue in the face. Use whatever equipment you need to use to do the job. I carry a 9m to protect myself. Does that mean that the person carrying a 40 or 45 are wrong? Am I? Let it go and use what you want! And people wonder why I don't post...
