It's down to a buck ninety-four at the store down the road. It was over two bucks per when I gassed up last week. :(

I'd love to see the oil co execs on the hot seat, trying to justify the $4.00 per they were stiffing us with just a few months ago. It'll probably never happen but it would be nice to see the greedy bastids called to account for once. Supply and demand, my ass.

On a positive note, this couldn't have come at a better time. Winter is coming. I am hoping that heating oil and propane will drop in cost as well. Ordinary people are hurting, finances-wise.

I didn't see the most local prices today, BUT I did see that a station on my way to work dropped their price 13 cents a gallon today..... So, IF, that translates to the places near me, that should be about $2.10 a gallon.

What some people seem to forget is that US oil executives have no say in what OPEC charges for a barrel of oil. That is where the US gets the majority of its oil. Demand is WAY down world-wide thus the drop in prices. That's how it works. Don't get me wrong. I think oil executives make too much money, salary wise.

This isn't good for Bay Area DJs, as the reason Sacramento DJs stopped servicing that area was High Gas Prices over $4 a gallon.

If gasoline in CA goes under $2 a gallon, it almost makes it worth doing events there again!

$2 gas means having a 100 mile radius instead of a 50-mile radius.

$2.01 to $3.25 a gallon in Orlando yesterday about $2.20 a gallon in Daytona today depending on where you buy.

Frm what I hear it's still about $.98/ litre at home

I was able to fill the Shelby up with 104 octane on Friday. It finally came down to more reasonable numbers :D:D:D:D:D so I was able to put the smaller pulley on the blower :D:D:D:D:D:D

Letsee the conversion chart says there are aproxamately 4 litres in a gallon of gas. Which doesn't sound right cause at 83.9 cents a litre that would make it over three dollars.. hmm

I'll have to reasearch this more.

Ok upon further research there are 3.875 litres in a US gallon of gas. At 84c per litre *which it hasn't been here in almost 2 years* that makes it $3.26/gallon which at current conversion rates makes it roughly $2.63

and I though gas was cheaper here in Canada.. *shrug*

Lowest priced gas yesterday is now sneaking up in price and now is $2.18 per gallon.

Anyone else here with oil heat?

Right now, for our company that we've been with for several years, the price is only $0.10 more - yup you read right - only 10 cents more this year, than last year's capped price!

The speculation at the beginning of the heating season was so far off, the prices were almost cut in half as of last week - Something along the line of $2.699/gal COD price.

Cheers,

Joe
