My main bottom rack is a SKB. My top is Home made but this is an older Pic from 2006. I have swapped the Denon 2500 CD for a 4000 cd and added my Dac-3. My other 2 racks are SKB also for backup amps & 2nd system.

Home Made Racks

My Racks are home made by me and covered with black carpet.: Tall Rack with processing & 2 amps, shelf on top, then on top of shelf is a command console. The wings of the shelf holds a laptop on left with a small compartment attached below. On the right shelf it is a mousepad area and another small compartment attached below for the Lighted External Hard Drive.
The Mackie is on an adjustable height table. A Draped skirt is attached to the shelf. Sometimes a Facade is used in front. Top row of Command Console has a backlight to illuminate the mixer. (Turned off in this pic) See here! http://www.ourdjtalk.com/album.php?albumid=53&pictureid=559

All of our rack cases are SKB molded. Tough as nails, easy to keep clean and they're light. :)

carpeted slant top combo for mixer, mp3 player, cd players, and lighting control

separate SKB rack for amp, EQ, and patch bay

This is the rack I'm about to move to for my 'main' wedding rig if all goes well.

I'll build another rack that will drop in the top to hold my horizontal equipment - and it should give me about 8-10U of space on each side or a total of about 16-20U of horizontal space to work with. Enough for multiple players, a decent mixer and more.

Just have to get something to haul it in first though.... :D
