I know that the Karaoke Forum migrated to OKJT - and don't really know why, but it seems to have about evaporated - Anybody know where the serious KJ's have moved to, and If Joker is still active in any forums ? Thanks...

Rob (Joker) is still here with us at ODJT.
OKJT was a failed project for me. To much drama and not enough time is basically what happened. I wound up passing the database along to a buddy of mine who gave OKJT a home at one of his boards but it's been pretty dead since.
I'll have to agree - many of them are - But not all of them - However it seems that many of them don't have a life outside of karaoke
Schleps probably had the site accused of not submitting to an audit and the members fear the wrath of SC.
There is a lot of anger and debate about piracy among KJ's, and these days they don't seem to be able to focus on anything else. It is unfortunate, there really are some great KJ's out there and the bickering back and forth reflects negatively on them all as a whole.
I also left OKJT because it became so hostile. Mostly its over if the manus suing KJs for (allegedly) using pirated music. http://karaokescene.com/forums/ is still around. But its just the same BS hashed over and over.

That's why it pays to be legal. I'd hate to see what would turn up IF the DJ population were suddenly targeted. Not trying to derail this thread. Just an observation.
