I love KC and JoJo - All My Life...

what new slow songs are like that? I mean where did they go? :sqerr:

It's like Alan Jackson sang ~ they've gone Country. :)

Here's a few of what I've been playing lately.

White Horse - Taylor Swift
You're Beautiful - James Blunt
Two is Better Than One - Boys Like Girls
Realize - Colby Callat
Come On Get Higher - Matt Nathanson
You're Not Sorry - Taylor Swift
Need You Now - Lady Antibellum
Love In This Club - Usher

Cam I beg to differ. When I do a school dance, they want slow,,,,, they want a reason to get close without being yelled at by teachers...

yeah, remember the days when NONE of the boys danced to ANYTHING but slow songs?

it's true though, Chuck...
I seem to keep going back to the older stuff.
maybe it's because slow songs need to be out there longer before they are appreciated, so they require a few years to "simmer"
either that, or slow songs just suck these days.
probably because so few new artists can actually sing well enough to do justice to a good slow tune

I'm sorry, some of these screaming pop rock bands, and some rap artists
should stick to what they do best!

We started out playing two slow songs for two fast songs.

Then it went to one slow song for every three fast songs.

Now it's one slow song for every five or six fast songs.

Funny though, the only events that "they" keep asking me for more slow songs is teen dances. (LOL)

What about you people?

boys never wanna do a fast dance with a girl at that age...
come to think of it...doesn't change all that much as they get older
