Honestly I'm making this thread because there was a storm and the electricity is off.

For me there's stuff I would love to have since I'm not retiring just yet. We have more than enough gear that we really don't need anything else. That still doesn't stop me from wanting things. Right now off hand even though I'm the maker of this thread I can't think of anything. I just thought of something. I would love another Denon DN MC 6000 for a backup. I bought one from Ebay and it never worked right. So I got taken.

I love that controller because it's lightweight, works great for what I do and is easy for me to use. I had one that I mistakenly plugged in the wrong power cord and it shorted out. I was at home and not at a gig. Since then I keep the cord to plug it up and the cord to use with my laptop in the case at all times. Lesson learned.

Not really, I’ve budgeted properly, so that any gear I need or want is easily attainable, I always follow the rules
If it doesn’t make the job easier or more profitable I don’t need to own it

That's where I'm at too I either save to buy it or take it out on no interest days ...

I thought about a Gigbar Move a while back but I don't see how it would add value and make enough to pay for itself even. If I need the write off I may buy it in December otherwise it will be on the shelf a while.

I may buy another Rodecaster for the studio but that's hobby that makes a few bucks not a business decision

Buying on a whim keeps you broke
