I don't think I have EVER played any version but this one.
 
You said cover version. Both of the ones I listed are originally by the Isley Brothers.

I know. On both counts.

I'm saying that I never played the Isley Brotherss version.
 
Ronnie McDowell covered Johnny Rivers' Slow Dancing (Swaying to the Music) back in the early '90s. It's a good cover and we've played it many times. :)

Great thread!

Depends on the event but my favorite cover right now is:

"Hit Me Baby, One More Time" by Bowling for Soup - it's great to watch the reactions as people slowly start to realize what the song is.

During cocktail hour or dinner, I make use of a great collection called "Rock Swings" by Paul Anka. It includes: True, It's My Life and a few more that I can't think of right now but every wedding DJ should have it in his/her collection. It never fails to get inquiries about the artist.
