JBL makes Eon One and they have it on sale for $899 in GC. I'm not looking to buy. I just want to start a discussion. What do you think of those speakers?

Why do we need to discuss if you're not looking to buy (or already bought)?
I think they're made by JBL and on sale for $899 at Guitar Center. Good talk.
You can't afford a decent microphone, yet you expect us to give you an opinion on a $900 speaker
My brothers best friends, cousins uncle had a two or three partners who were talking about them at the free gig they do on Sundays, they decided they would just go to the pawn shop and get something cheaper
It's heavier than the Bose L1, and not much cheaper. They made it more convenient by putting it all in one box, but there isn't enough cost or weight savings to get me to bite. I'll stick with the L1 Compacts.
It's my understanding the JBL EON One competes with the L1 Compact. From what I've heard from others, and I have not heard the JBL myself, it doesn't sound as good as the Bose. It's also not cheaper, as GC has the Compact on sale for $849.99.

Actually, it sounds pretty good .. IMO, better than a Compact, but not significantly so. The Compact looks a little more elegant, the EON has more features.

Like I said, I haven't heard the JBL myself, but there seems to be a consensus among the people I talk to that the Compact sounds better. All that is pretty subjective when both units sound pretty good.[emoji4]

The JBL EON One has more bass than a L1 Compact. However, I don't think it has any more throw than a compact has. The compact can fill a small venue with sound pretty darn good, but it just doesn't have the bass. Great for Guitarist/Singers though!

Maybe we should invite his cousin's brother's best friend's uncle to the website to discuss.
I bought one and used it for a ceremony and it was great.I got the free carrier they had a rebate on and pound for pound was a hit in my book.
