Honestly I haven't kept up because all the big talk is Covid 19 and how many people died today. I googled the info for the restrictions and it mentioned Covid 19. I didn't ask a damn thing about Covid 19. I'm just not into feeding info what the media wants you to focus on. That's just so they can scare people into taking the vaccine.
Regardless of where you get your information - unless you get a vaccine, you may not be doing any events.

I left my day job at the end of 2020 to start a new company with a partner. I'll certainly continue to DJ the gigs I have booked, but my focus this year is getting that business off the ground and stable.

That is awesome! It is always a scary tought (At least at first) to quit a stable day time job to pursue a new business venture.

Are you going to continue to push your DJ business, or are you planning on winding it down as you work on this new business with your partner?

Yea .. no need to keep up if you aren't running a business. And good luck with gigs when they start up and request/require proof of vaccination to perform .. :)
Simply put I won't be their DJ. You can let them turn you into a guinea pig but not me!

Let's ask Taso this question. He's doing a lot of events right now. Has he taken the vaccine or been required to take the vaccine or he can't work?

They're still working on 1st responders and are just about to start the next groups ... I don't think Taso will be eligible for a while .. you might be however.

Yeah, I'm not going to stop DJing for the time being. Thankfully I'm not needing to put a ton of time into marketing the DJ work right now. The work I do have is all basically from referrals. And I have gigs into 2022 already at this point. I won't necessarily be trying to make it bigger intentionally, but I don't have any plans to wind down yet.

You seem to miss what I said. I SAID THEY CAN MISS ME. Understand me now?

How many of you will rush and take the vaccine? How many will do what the media suggests and that is getting tested regularly? If so why?

I will when it's my turn. I'm not in a high risk category, but when I can, I will.

Mix at the moment only 65+ can take it unless you’re a frontline worker or have a compromising disease.
Chances are I may take it... wife wants baby number two, and I already got covid from djing a wedding once... so while I hate shots in general... yeah I may take one for the team.

With a new grandchild, I will take it once I am able to.
