I like the new site - thanks, Dan! By the way, I prefer to see who likes my posts and posts of others, but I like the way it is set up to handle posts with several "likes" (JaneDoe, Johndoe, and ## others like this). I saw some posts with just numbers of likes and I do not like that setup.

The likes with just numbers was done to make the import go faster. Once someone likes the post it will recalculate the names.
Danno - Another Quirk....
If I type something into a comment and then abandon it (leave the page, go back, etc.) .. the next time I comment on something, the abandoned words will pop back up into the typing field. I just noticed I had replied to a post, but apparently, before their quoted section, was some text I was starting for another post.
Second quirk .. I can't edit that post. There are none following it .. old system allowed those to be edited and just put in an edit time.

+1 on auto-save. You have a little floppy disk on the editor toolbar which lets you delete or force save a draft.

I'll take a look. I know there's a cron job that cleans un-posted drafts every so often.
One more oddity .. if you load a local image file, you have the option of creating it as a thumbnail. If you pull an image from the web, it comes in at the native resolution with no option. Anyway to have it come in with the option of a "standard size" something like 2x3" or so. I think the VB version had that. Otherwise, Images are going full screen.
IIRC all images are sized according to the window size. If you use the attachments system and place the full image inline the image will size according to your browser's window. The viewer can click for full size. Same with external embeds.

Yup it works, if I resize my window the image resizes to fit within the window.
But there doesn't seem to be a way to use attachments from the web .. so one would need to download the image locally, then upload it to ODJT. Maybe there is a tool that will do that process that we can add on. Makes it tough to see some images.
Ahh I see what you're talking about the transload feature of vB. I haven't seen anything like that for Xenforo yet.
You can still embed them - they're automatically resized to the browser's window size. I know they can be quite large but that's intended when embedding a full size image.
Transloading is something I never particularly cared for as it can run me into copyright issues. Randomly snagging images off the internet and copying them to your server for public display can run you into trouble.

Totally agree on that. I log in once, and stay logged in -- doesn't necessarily mean I'm here all the time (might be out mowing the lawn). To me, it means people want to hide. When people hide, it annoys me.

I find it very amusing that it is always the cantankerous and main offenders who are always complaining about things that do not concern them. Nobody else seems to have a problem.
