Oddly enough I agree with giggles and will be putting the three words throughout my crawled pages. I think I will also make up a bogus bride email to ask them if they are associated with my website. Should drive them nuts when they keep sending C&D notices that I refuse to receive. I urge you to do likewise.

Stay with and trademark WES .. It would be cool to have the opening line in an ad be "Are you dealing with an official WES"?

I retract the previous suggestions. I was wrong and misinformed.
I think the correct course of action here is for Wes to stop using the term as they have requested with no further fanfare.

And then sell the rights to use the name, without all that crap WED wants. Granted, I no longer do weddings, but there was a time when that was the source of the vast majority of my earnings. I have done hundreds of weddings, and in the end it always came down to 3 things:

1. Compatibility between client and the DJ
2. Trusting the DJ
3. Price

Anything else is just people wanting their egos stroked. Or thinking that this self made title means more than the used toilet paper I flushed this morning.

I would pay you $25 WES, to use WES, if I still did weddings. ;)

I will tm WEC .... Wedding Entertainment Coordinator, or Wedding Entertainment Clown.

That's my part-time gig .. although I market the "I" as "Indulgent" .. emphasizes the mystery.
