Ok this ones a bit weird... here lately as I learn to use the Total Control mixer in VDJ I've noticed that when I move things like the deck volumes or the cross faders or really anything that moves a dial or slider I get this scratchy sound like you would from a dirty pot or slider on an actual mixer....

I get this even when I don't have the Total Control connected and am just navigating throug the software with a mouse....

Here's the scenerio:

Load a track into either deck then start playing with the opposite deck... load a track align it with the jog wheel or adjust the deck level or whatever and you get this scratchy sound...

Try with Safe Mode ON and OFF and set latency to Auto

Tried that....

I may have too much chit running... as I am ripping CDG's and surfing and IM'n too... LOL

I did restart the computer and just loaded VDJ still the same issue so I loaded Cue LE to see if the problem exited there too... and it is but not as pronounced as it is in VDJ Pro....

I still think there are a bunch of processes running that are eating up processor power that are causeing this....

I had a similar problem a while back with Mixmeister and Win 2K. It was more like nails down a chalkboad sound though. I believe it happened after an update that didn't agree with the soundcard drivers
