VDJ Kool-Aid

Ok...for all of you that thought I had an agenda here, I will happily say that I find both advantages (likes & dislikes) between VDJ and RockIt after running it thru it's paces for the first time live. They each serve their own purpose. I'll stick to what I said, if you're mixing video, kroakie & music all together at a show, VDJ is the best option in my opinion. It also does a great job with music only with alot of bells-n-whistles. But, RockIt does have some conveniences that I enjoy as well. I could easily see myself utilizing both programs depending on what type of show I'm doing; so I'm happy that I have two great programs at my convenience.

Why would some one think you have an adgenda. You tried a product and you like it. Because of your post, I tried it and I like it. So thanks for doing this. I know this is the software I am going to use when I get finished getting my music finished. Along with other reasons.
Just switched back to VDJ with the Denon 6000 controller. Doing more video these days and intend to expand that offering in the upcoming months. VDJ was my answer. Denon 6000 and MAC Book Pro, my hardware! As I enter my 36th year in this business, I am amazed at the technological advances that have been made! Its overwhelming sometimes!
As I prepare my roll out to video (and the occasional kroakie show) it was imperitive I find a software that could handle it and one that I would be comfortable with before even going LIVE with the new offerings. I believe I have that piece of the pie solved, so now it's on to building the video library.
