Steve, I just tried it and adjusted the fade times but winamp is much better because you can fine tune the transition once and then it will mix the same way for all the songs.
Here is cheapest version of OTS is, without the cueing option. You can download the free one but it is not for live use as it will make an audible announcement every 5 minutes or so. It does the same auto-segue as the more expensive OTS program. When you scroll to the bottom of the purchase page, you can buy a license for $29.95.

That is all you would need to play back music and it really is superior because then all of your songs with hard endings will maintain them and all the songs that fade out will mix beautifully.

Steve - I had played with Turntables...yes it mixes great.....I had almost purchased it...What I don't like about it is that you cannot drag and drop from Explorer into the palylist.....Then there's the analyzing and.omx file thing. But you're right..the automixing is flawless.....

I know with J Rivers I just make M3U playlists of about 3 songs for dinner and name them like I have a Crooner set and a Smooth Jazz set also a classic rock set and a few more. Changing them is so easy its just a matter of clicking on another playlist. I have messed with winamp and wmp and none compare to J Rivers plus it will show you your hard drive and allow for instance searches etc etc.

Yeah, I tried Turntables and their is no library search at all! That totally sucks... Go with winamp then.
Turntables also doesn't load the entire database with each load. You must import the tracks you will be using with each launch.
Gee, I remember when you actually had to put the record on the turntable with each launch :sqerr:
