Paul I have tried 2 different chargers on it and they still make noise. I think the Latin American offerings change a little bit from their American counterparts, but the $0.99 solution works :D:D:D The new Dells that took over keep things nice and quiet and I will replace those by next year since I like to keep updated in said department.

Well gang, just tested the system on both Bose L1 and the Compact L1. And at full throttle CH 4 on the L1 and Compact, just a muted 120hz hum - that is really not noticeable. But just let the PC ground touch the mixer? Yikes! This was giving me grief for almost 5 years - and finally solved it. And the generic 7.1 usb sound device sounds quite impeccable. So, a USB isolator for the sound device and a RCA > RCA isolator for PC line out to mixer in.

What I cannot do is use the balanced XLR on the mixer. That, has issues (mixer issues).

Took this live on Saturday. In a word - outstanding! The only hint of noise was result of unbalanced cabling. And until I get XLR corrected on the mixer, will hafta deal with it. Ran two Bose L1 systems and two wireless speakers via zone out.
