Global truss.... i lay them down in the back of an suv with the seats down... sadly anytime i do truss i have to take both my Enclave and my Dads Santa Fe... just not enough room for everything AND truss... i rarely use it....except at this one venue thats about a mile from my Dads... its easy enough to pop down there with 2 cars

As much as i love the look of truss..ive grown quite happy with my tripod configuration for my moving heads... they are on speaker stands with jerry rigged adapter

Are you always doing 2 movers or do you have 4? (if 4) Have you thought about a mini-T? I have 2 Ts that are about 2.5 feet wide, which hold 2 Chauvet 255 movers and a chauvet mini-colorstrip on each unit. I've perm-mounted the fixtures (a bit heavy) so it's literally just put the rig on a crank, connect the wires, then crank. It's all wireless DMX (donners) and super-quick/easy.

I did the right-side-up platform when I first got my movers. It would scare the life out of me with 355s. Those dude are huge. The Ts that I have are square steel and bottom-mounting movers would be a much more stable platform. I guess if it's working for you though...................

Yeah...mine are locked in tight via their factory mounting bracket and bolted into a plate attachment for the stands... have had zero issues so far

I should do a plug for these guys - https://csnl.com/products/csl-tripod-fixture-mount-system

I've been talking to Jim Baxter for help with a projector mount and he has been over the top helpful (with support for a projector - the mount is fine). These guys are one of the best in customer service. Full review on the projector coming shortly.

honestly...if i had it to do over again...i would purchase this set up and never look back.... i love the look of truss... but as far as convenience...these with a scrim over them is ideal...and would fit so much easier

you could also lower them to different heights depending on the venue....every once and a while they put you on a stage or in a space with minimal headroom...

My next set will probably this set up also, but I need something for now that I could use both vertical or horizontal.
