This is gotta be the worst song ever written. At least the Chicken dance usually fills the floor. "Crank that" clears the floor with the exception of the few punks that come out & act it out.
It has the same effect on the dancefloor as any Slim Whitman song.

DJDennis, that's what I do when I host Karaoke. Terrible singer? Bop along with the music, try to mix. EQ, adjust vocal effects etc. the best that I can and just tune out the terrible singing. I don't know how well I could have done this when I was younger? Now that I'm older and mellowed out it's easier. Same thing with playing horrible music like the chicken dance.

if you know your songs and know how to remic, edit and do lots of other strange things with music (and sound effects as see jon tuck)
I can do all the try mixing, EQ, adjust vocal effects etc.
and still turn off because I know how long the song is to the second
if you worked a 5x year streach on 7x days a week at a hotel and doing up to 6x weddings in a weekend (this was 15x years ago) and do that for 5x years almost straight you can see how you can turn off and do other things while people are singing, dancing, being at a club where fights breakout all the time
if you really saw what I use to do alot would be shocked
there is one Dj that I still see now days (hes retired now) he could give you some stories of me in the clubs and make your hair stand on end
plus while I was djing in a few clubs other days I was the local Bouncer as well, so you really see the dark side of people especially throwing them OUT
anyway it for me in 2008 I went semi retired (computers are taking over the work I do now) the Djing is becoming off with all these so called idiots with a laptop and an ipod so I stay well away from brides that was cheep cheep
