I treated this like a Business from the get go. I went out and bought a Full Club Sound not a piece meal pile of crap that had to be replaced.

I love that because when I came baxk I surprised this guy who is now my partner. I went to G C and took a loan check I got from my jobs credit union that was little over $2,300.00 and bought some gear. I took the advice of a guy who at that time was a vice principle. He was and still is a DJ. I told him what I was planning to do. He was the one who told me where to go to buy this equipment. When I got there I knew he had me to go to the right place.

Since I had been a DJ before I had a good idea of what to look for. I did a very good job in what I bought at that time! I still have the same QSC 2450 amp I bought there over 10 years ago. Only been in the shop once because he on switch stopped working. Now obviously I've made some changes and have sold some items I had as I was going along. The thing that blew my partner away was when he came to show me how o hook up the equipment I had just bought.

First he thought I was just telling a lie when I said I was getting back to being a DJ. Then he thought I was going to buy some cheap garbage that you can buy in downtown Newark, NJ. I blew his mind when he saw the gear. He even told me I had stuff like him. I remember I also bought a pair of used Peavey SP 2G speakers, Numark mixer and Numark CDN 88. I kept the dual CD player till I decided to buy 2 Pioneer CDJ 800's. I sold those last year I think or 2 years ago because I bought the controller I have now which is the Denon DN MC 6000. Bottom line I was proud of the things I bought when I first came back and I bought such things because they fit within my budget at that time and I knew the stuff was quality gear. I had a leg up because of my previous experience as a DJ before.
