How is everybody's first week going? Tuesday is the first real weigh - in, if you choose to participate.

I'm doing real well. Hope you all are too!
 
I'm sure my first week won't be real good, since I've been sick off and on for the last 2 weeks. This is the first day that I have felt really good.

Went to the grocery store and got some salad fixins' and as I said before, I have my soda intake down to 1 soda per day and drinking lots of water.

Hope to start hitting cardio this week, now that I can stand upright more than a few hours at a time.

Okay I forgot to re enter my initial weight as I had guestimated. I was way off. Last week January 2nd I was in fact 254. I have cut down on pop and my meals and snacking plus Im on my fourth day at the gym doing 30 minutes of fatburning cardio around 4-500 calories burnt each day next week Im going to begin 45 minutes and th following week Im on my weigh to a circuit core workout plan. Pushing one day pulling the other. I think 3-5 lbs per week is a safe healthy amount. Water intake will become paramount. The yr I lost 75 lbs (Im carrying 50 of it again) I drank so much water that I couldnt get a proper reading when asked for a random urinalysis test. I had to eat a greasy burger and drink a milkshake make it readable.
 
Kirby,,, switch to diet soda,,, Coke is the one I like the best,,, well I don't like it, but it is better than the rest..

I'm drinking it and wow oh wow, what a difference...

I still drink the leaded kinda at a gig sometimes...
 
Diet Dr PEpper tastes the most like the original type. However Sodium in even a diet pop will hold water and hold your weight from leaving tenfold in itself. Dont believe me ask a dietician. The daily requirement eludes me but google it and you will see how much one can exceeds that number by itself.

Belive me, I've tried. :sqbiggrin:

I get really bad headaches from any diet soda, so I have to stay away from them. :sqmad:

I'd be better off if I didn't have any caffeine....but I'm an addict! :sqeek: :sqeek:

I know JTV & Kirby,,, it would be better not to drink them at all, but for me,,,, that ain't gonna happen! LOL

Still at an even 218 / 220 (Depending on Time of Day I weigh Myself)

This is my plateau!
This is where my struggle starts
 
Well 6 days and 5 Lbs lighter (218Lbs). I figure next week will be even better I am going for Oral surgery Wednesday (getting all my teeth removed). Ill be living on Ensure and pudding for a week or so

I got a home gym for Christmas so I am going to start working out next week. that will probably add a few pounds as I build muscle fairly quick but hopefully lose a few inches of gut

The ultimate goal is still 200 Lbs
